Robin Hood ~ Raising the roof raised

for Byron Bay Public School.

The money has already been spent on new stainless steel benches for the Canteen as part of the extension to the hall.

Thank you to all who supported us - we had a great time and hope you did too.

See you next year!

The CAPE Gooseberries are:

...the Canteen Amateur Performance Ensemble, Byron Bay Public School's very own Canteen Volunteers* whose multiple hidden talents burst free from the Canteen one day and dared to dance upon the stage.
We like to think that the name symbolises the heart of gold that lies within us all, but in reality the acronym came first and the 'gooseberries' followed happily, unbidden but perfectly apt.

*(and anyone associated with the school who happened to say 'yes' when asked to be part of the show)

Cape Gooseberry (Physalis peruviana)
All parts of the plant, except the ripe fruit, are poisonous... oh well...
