What woodwork has been for me
As I was driving in to Byron to go to woodwork I remember thinking that I was glad to be going there. That I was doing something that I had always wanted to do.I had looked at woodworking classes before, and never gone, I don't know why. Then someone mentioned for me that there was a class for women. For some reason that appealed to me. And I know why now.

The support and encouragement that Patt and Maggie give to students is exactly what I need. I am learning something I feel proud of.

I also thought on my drive down, what a positive thing I am showing my children. Being a single mother, doing things rhat I enjoy, and showing my girls that you can 'make your own table'. I can see their faces when Mom brings home a whole Table that she made herself. That makes me smile. Knowing I am not only giving myself a gift but my children as well.

To be able to do that in such a friendly supportive environment with other, exciting, women who each have been a role model in some way to me makes me feel we are truly blessed.
